Elliott combines 8 years in the field of sports performance enhancement with his lifelong pursuit of athletic excellence.  Originally from Toronto, Elliott currently works at Acadia University as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach.  He operates and oversees Acadia Performance Training and coordinates the training of provincial and national athletes from the Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic.  His responsibilities also include leading and mentoring assistant coaches and 40+ strength and conditioning interns through the Bachelor of Kinesiology program at Acadia University. Through a constantly evolving system, athletes can expect to receive consistent training session which provide constant challenge and are tailored to their developmental, biomechanical and physical level. Elliott is passionate about improving athletic performance but, more importantly, he is driven to improve himself, his staff and his athletes with a 24/7/365 mindset of constant improvement.

His passion in strength and conditioning arose from the benefits that it had on his own personal and professional development.  As an undersized (5’7 ½) Defensive Back with limited physical abilities, Elliott was drawn to strength training to close the gap in physical qualities. His dedication to training afforded him the opportunity to play for Team Canada and eventually at Acadia University.  His personal passion led him from a Bachelor of Arts degree to a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree where he excelled academically and was twice recognized as an Academic All-Canadian.  Through passion and perseverance, Elliott was signed as an undrafted free agent to the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League.  Despite not being drafted, he was the first member of his class to start in the CFL and started at Free Safety his first two years.

After his career ended after three seasons, Elliott returned to Acadia University and was offered the opportunity to become the first full-time Strength and Conditioning Coach.  His background provided the foundation for his underpinning mission statement: "Meeting athletes where they are and providing them every tool possible to maximize their athletic potential."
